How much does professional upholstery cleaning cost in Melbourne?
From $35 a dining chair, $40 an office chair, $55 an armchair, $70 a recliner and $60 a fabric bed head. A set of six dining chairs is from $180, which is where most people land. There is a from $120 minimum call-out for a visit to one address, so single small pieces are best added to a larger booking. You get a fixed itemised quote before we start.
How is this different from your couch cleaning page?

How long does upholstery take to dry?
Usually two to four hours with air movement, less on thin fabrics like dining chair seats. Recliners and heavily padded pieces take longer because there is more foam holding moisture. Open a window and keep a fan going and you will be sitting on it the same day.
Will cleaning damage or shrink the fabric?
Not when the fabric code is respected. The tag under the seat says W, S, WS or X. Wet-cleaning an S-coded fabric is what causes water rings and shrinkage, so we check that tag first and switch to a low-moisture solvent method where it applies. If there is no tag we test a hidden section before going near the visible surface.
Can you clean office chairs at a workplace?
Yes, and we do it out of hours so nobody loses a day. Priced per chair with a volume rate over about ten, cleaned in place, and invoiced to the business with an ABN on the invoice.
Do you clean fabric bed heads?
Yes, from $60 depending on size. They are fixed to the wall or bed frame so they cannot go anywhere, and they collect hair product and body oil at exactly pillow height. Most have never been cleaned. It is worth doing at the same visit as the mattress.
Will the water marks or head stains come out?
Body-oil head marks usually lift well if they are not years old, because oil that has oxidised into the fibre becomes part of the fabric colour. Water rings from a previous DIY attempt often come out with a full extraction that re-wets and evenly dries the whole panel. We will tell you which one you have before you pay.
Do you clean car and caravan seats?
Yes, from $120 at your address. Cloth seats, carpet and fabric trim with the same extraction equipment we use indoors. Leather seats are cleaned and conditioned instead.
Can I add chairs to a carpet cleaning booking?
Yes, and it is the cheapest way to do it because the call-out is already covered. Tell us when you book so we allow the extra time on the day.
