What Melbourne Says About Our Blind Cleaning
Unedited reviews left by real customers on our Google Business Profile.
Hear It From Our Customers
Filmed on the job in Melbourne homes — no scripts, no actors.
Nobody Cleans Between the Slats
A feather duster moves the dust from the top of the slats onto the floor and back again. The grime that actually makes blinds look grey sits on the edges, in the cord holes and along the bottom rail, where a duster never reaches.
Kitchen and bathroom blinds are worse again, because dust lands on a film of grease or steam residue and bonds to it. That is why wiping them with a damp cloth just smears.
We clean them in place, slat by slat, with a solution matched to the material, then detail the cords, rails and mechanisms. No taking them down, no soaking, and nothing left to rust or warp.
Those are the ones with the most dramatic result, and they are also the ones where we check the mechanism first. Very old cords and tapes can be fragile, and we will point that out before starting.

Blinds We Clean
Material decides how much moisture is safe. Timber is the one that gets damaged most often.
What We Remove From Blinds
Tell us which rooms they are in. Kitchen and bathroom blinds need a different approach to bedroom ones.

Blind Cleaning Melbourne FAQs
How much does blind cleaning cost in Melbourne?
From $25 a standard venetian, $35 for timber or faux timber, $30 a vertical and $28 a roller. Fabric Roman blinds are from $45. A whole home of eight or more blinds is from $190. There is a $120 minimum call-out covering up to four blinds. You get a fixed itemised quote before we begin.
Do you take the blinds down?
No. We clean them in place, slat by slat, which avoids the risk of bending slats or damaging brackets during removal and means there is no downtime with bare windows.
Can you clean timber blinds?
Yes, with a low-moisture method. Real timber is the material most often ruined by cleaning, because water warps the slats and lifts the finish permanently. Tell us they are timber when you book so we bring the right products.
Will it fix the grey edges?
That is exactly what the job is. The grey along the slat edges and around the cord holes is bonded dust that dusters never reach, and it is where the visible improvement comes from.
Can you get grease off kitchen blinds?
Yes. Kitchen blinds have a grease film with dust stuck into it, which is why wiping them just smears. They get a degreasing step first so the dust lifts rather than spreading.
How long does it take?
Around ten minutes a blind, so most homes are finished in one to two hours depending on how many windows there are.
Are they wet afterwards?
No. We use minimal moisture and wipe dry as we go, so blinds are ready to use immediately and there is nothing left to rust or warp.
What if the cords or mechanism are old?
We check them before handling. Very old cords and tapes can be brittle, and if we think something is likely to fail we will point it out before starting rather than after.
How often should blinds be cleaned?
Every 12 months for most rooms, and every 6 months for kitchen and bathroom blinds where grease and steam accelerate the build-up.
Do you cover my suburb?
All of Melbourne metro plus Geelong and surrounds. Call 0436 389 114 if you are unsure.
