Can you clean a Persian or hand-knotted rug?
Yes, with dye testing first. Older natural and early synthetic dyes can bleed, and once a red has run into an ivory field it cannot be reversed. Do you clean the rug at my home or take it away?

Will the rug shrink or curl?
Not when it is dried flat with proper air movement. Rippling and curling happen when a rug is over-wetted and then left to dry unevenly, usually draped over something.
Can you get pet accidents out of a wool rug?
Often, though it depends how far it went through. Urine that reached the foundation and backing needs enzyme treatment from both sides, and where it has been sitting a long time it can have permanently altered the wool dye. We will look at it and give you a straight assessment before you commit.
