Should I clean the bed head at the same time?
It is worth considering. Fabric bed heads sit at pillow height and collect hair product and body oil, and almost none have ever been cleaned. They are from $60 and the call-out is already covered if we are there for the mattress.
Is it worth cleaning an old mattress?
If it is still comfortable and structurally sound, yes. If it is sagging through the middle or you wake up sore, cleaning it will make it hygienic but will not fix the support, and we would rather tell you that than take the money.
Can I sleep on it the same night?
Yes. We use controlled moisture and run air movers afterwards, so a queen is dry enough to make up and sleep on the same evening. If a mattress comes back from someone soaked enough to need two days, it was over-wetted.
Will this help my allergies?
It reduces the dust-mite waste and allergen load in the mattress, which for many people is a meaningful part of the problem. We will not promise it fixes your allergies, because bedroom carpet, curtains and pillows all contribute too. If you wake congested and clear within an hour, the bed is a sensible first thing to address.
